Is the surface painted? If the area is painted or bare, it will determine which method we will use to remove the graffiti.

There are three methods that can be used to remove graffiti areas.
Hot water pressure wash and a graffiti removal chemical. This works great for areas with a smooth surface. We pretreat the area with a graffiti removing agent and use low pressure and extremely hot water to gently melt off the graffiti. Using high pressure could potentially damage the surface. Our trained technicians will determine the correct pressure to optimize the final result. This method is ideal for block walls, walkways, box trucks, electrical boxes, street signs, etc.
The old term is sandblast, but we don’t use sand. We use soda, glass, and walnut. This method is ideal for porous surfaces. This method works great on metal, wood, aggregate, porous block/brick, overpasses, curbs, etc. We will determine which media will work best for your situation. Media blasting works great to get down into the nooks and crannies of the surface and will remove most of the graffiti.
Color Match/Paint Cover Up
Color match and paint over the graffiti. If the surface is currently painted, usually the best option is to prime over the graffiti (To prevent it from bleeding through) professionally color match the paint color and repaint. By taking the extra time to color match the paint and painting to a break point, we will provide a consistent look. We will not paint a brown square of paint on a tan wall to cover up the spot. This is unsightly, as well.
